By using YouTube Downloader, you agree to these terms. That covers pasting a link, picking a quality, or just browsing the pages.

Don't agree? Then don't use the site. It's that simple.

What the Service Does

You paste a YouTube link and tap the button. The tool looks up the video live and shows its title, length and the available qualities.

You choose an MP4 video quality from 144p up to 1080p, or an MP3 audio quality from 64 to 320 kbps. The file then opens in a new browser tab, straight from YouTube's video servers. We don't host, convert or store any files.

The service is free. No account, no app, no extension.

Personal, Non-Commercial Use

This tool is for your own personal use. Save a clip to watch offline. Keep a lecture for your commute. Grab audio you're allowed to keep.

Don't use it to build a business, feed a product, or make money from other people's content.

Copyright and Your Responsibility

You are responsible for what you download. Not us. Only save videos and audio you have the right to save.

You must also respect YouTube's own terms of service, which apply to the content on their platform.

• Videos you created and own yourself.
• Content in the public domain.
• Content under a licence that allows downloading, such as some Creative Commons licences.
• Content the rights holder has given you permission to save.

Things You Must Not Do

Keep it fair for everyone. Misusing the site can get your access blocked without warning.

• Don't download, copy or share content in a way that breaks copyright or any other law.
• Don't send automated or mass requests, run bots or scrapers, or try to overload the site.
• Don't try to hack, probe, disrupt or get around the site's security.
• Don't resell, rebrand or charge others for access to the service or the files it gives you.
• Don't use the site to harm, harass or deceive anyone.

No Affiliation with YouTube or Google

YouTube Downloader is an independent tool. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by YouTube or Google.

YouTube is a trademark of Google. We use the name only to describe what the tool works with.

Third-Party Content and Services

Every video and audio track you see through this tool belongs to its creators or rights holders. We don't own it, check it or vouch for it.

The site also relies on outside services, including Cloudflare for hosting and security and Google Analytics for anonymous visit statistics. Their own terms and policies apply to what they do.

Our Own Content and Design

The text, layout, design and code of this site belong to YouTube Downloader. Don't copy, republish or clone them without our permission.

Linking to the site is fine. Passing it off as your own is not.

No Warranty

The service is provided "as is" and "as available." We work hard to keep it running, but we make no promises that it will always work, work without errors, or work for every video.

Some videos simply can't be saved. Private, age-restricted, members-only, removed or region-blocked videos may fail. Live streams that are still running won't work. For playlist links, only the single video in the link is fetched. YouTube can also change things on its side at any time.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, YouTube Downloader is not liable for any loss or damage that comes from using the site or not being able to use it. That includes lost data, failed downloads, device problems, or legal trouble caused by content you chose to download.

You use the tool at your own risk. If you break these terms or the law, you're responsible for the consequences.

Changes and Availability of the Service

We can change, pause or shut down any part of the service at any time. That could mean new features, different quality options, or downtime for maintenance.

We don't have to give notice first, and we're not liable if the service is unavailable for a while or for good.

Remember: we don't host any video or audio files. Still, we take every complaint seriously and will do what we reasonably can.

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, the new version goes live on this page and applies from that moment.
