We're a small, independent team. No corporate parent and no giant roadmap, just a few people who got tired of clunky download pages full of pop-ups, fake buttons and confusing steps.

So we built the tool we wanted to use ourselves. Fast, clean and honest about what it can and can't do. Every decision on this site starts with one question: does this make saving a video easier for you?

What Our YouTube Downloader Does

You paste a YouTube link and tap the button. That's it. Normal watch links, youtu.be short links, Shorts, mobile links and YouTube Music links all work.

You get two ways to save. Grab the video as an MP4 or pull just the sound as an MP3. Each video quality shows its file size up front, so you know exactly what you're getting before you tap.

How It Works Behind the Scenes

When you paste a link, we look the video up live. You see its title, length and the available qualities within moments. Tap one and the file opens in a new browser tab, straight from YouTube's own video servers.

We don't host files. We don't save the video details or links you request, and we keep no download history. Each lookup happens fresh for you and disappears when you're done. Long videos work too, with no length or size cap.

Some videos won't come through. Private, age-restricted, members-only, removed or region-blocked videos may fail, and live streams still in progress can't be saved. Paste a playlist link and you'll get the single video in that link.

What We Care About

Speed comes first. No waiting rooms, no extra steps between you and your file. Simple design comes right after. One input box, one button, a clear list of choices.

We also care about straight answers. If a video can't be saved, we'd rather tell you why than leave you guessing. And we ask you to play fair: download only videos you own, that are in the public domain or under a licence that allows it, or that you have permission to save, for personal use.
